Simulation and Vehicle Technology Course

The course is held in association with South Wales Police and incorporates both a state-of-the-art driving simulator and Police instructed in-vehicle training. It is designed for all drivers who require an understanding of vehicle control techniques, ABS, ESP, TCS and vehicle dynamics. Nowhere else in the UK can you find such a unique driving experience.

The course begins in South Wales Police’s state-of-the-art car simulator that recreates up to 87 different driving scenarios. After each delegate has completed an initial drive in the simulator, a debrief is conducted by a South Wales Police Advanced Driver Trainer providing feedback about each drive. Following the simulator debrief, delegates will be taken to an off-road venue to practice technical control in Police vehicles accompanied by an Advanced Trainer from South Wales Police.

A typical course is held over 1 day for between 3 and 9 candidates.
