The course is designed for delegates who are already qualified ADI’s and therefore we will assume a good knowledge of driving theory, a good standard of driving ability and a sound understanding of fault identification, analysis and remedial action.
With this in mind, it will help if you already have an advanced driving qualification or at least have sought training prior to attending the course with a local advanced driving organisation. At the very least we would require you to have an existing sound working knowledge of the principles detailed within ‘Roadcraft the Police drivers Manual’ and in particular the system of car control.
This will allow us to quickly teach from the known to the unknown and will allow time within the structure of the course to concentrate on other important areas such as planning and delivering training programmes, presentation techniques, risk assessment, client profiling and advice & guidance on marketing your services.
You may have your own copies of the reading material which we direct you to and you may wish to bring these along with you to the course. We will however have copies of the above material and you may make full use of these during your attendance on the course.
